Being unable to lie, huh?
It's not that much of a hindrance. Not for Barton. He can just move to avoid people. If the situation pops up that he has to talk, he knows how to spin the truth. He's not able to outright lie, but there's nothing to say he can't exaggerate, stretch or put a spin on the truth he's forced to say.
And there's always the option of not saying anything.
Being a trained SHIELD agent, he's pretty good at resisting interrogations. This just put that training to the test. Of course, he'd prefer to avoid using it, which was why he was up aheight, sat on the roof of a building.
The hawk was in his nest, as usual. This wasn't an uncommon sight. Clint Barton sees better from a distance, so that's how he was looking over Vatheon. He'd picked this spot because it offered him a decent view over most of the city.
In his opinion, no better place to ride out this bullshit curse, or whatever.
Of course, that was only his current worry. Everything about this kingdom set him on edge. From the fact they were under the sea to the brand on the back of his hand. He didn't know what it was, but it was there.
"Keep it together, Barton." Clint mumbles under his breath. "You've been through worse. At least no-one's trying to kill you for once." Yet, that is.
